Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps
This “Special Edition” soap line and promotional campaign for Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps focused on the ethics of palm oil.
I lead product packaging design, a consumer promotional campaign, and building of a fundraising platform.
The campaign tells the story of Dr. Bronner's move from a traditional palm oil supply chain to a Fair Trade one and the development of their palm oil project in Asuom, Ghana.
IDENTITY SYSTEM
The identity system for product packaging and the promotional campaign built on Dr. Bronner’s iconic typeface. We utilized a deliberate blending of large and small typefaces, but took the opportunity to integrate human characters and environments from the digital film.
Because typography is so core to the brand, we use the opportunity to tell the story of Dr. Bronner’s Fair Trade Palm Oil in Ghana on the side. Also, it smells amazing. We had nothing to do with that :)
