How do you commemorate the anniversary of Ford putting a convertible on the roof of the Empire State Building? You re-imagine the moment as a mobile game and invite users to customize their own convertible and do it too!

The online game included quiz questions and animation. For every right answer, players saw their car move up the Empire State Building - from NYC street level to the roof!

“Cheryl”
Ford & American Idol

Meet Cheryl. She’s a lifelong Ford fan.

She used to have a 1951 half-ton pickup.

And a 1968 Mustang.

Now she’s got a bright blue 2012 Mustang, and she loves American Idol.

This campaign paired Ford with American Idol and gave Ford members (online fans) like Cheryl tickets to the show. We invited Cheryl to take us on a drive with her husband, Barry, and the dog, Colonel Klink to go to a live taping. This is the video of her big day.
